Volunteer park hut wardens sought
Hut wardens for the Whanganui River and Matemateaonga Track huts in the Whanganui National Park are again being sought, for this summer. Volunteers are needed from 6 December to 6 March. Department of Conservation Whanganui field centre manager John Lythgoe has said he prefers people who are familiar with the river and have canoed it, but asks anyone interested to contact him.
