Basketball
Following the success of the New Zealand Winter Games recent basketball event, Bubs Hibbard, who organised the event said that she will suggest to the National Federation of the New Zealand Winter Games that it should be included in the programme.
"We will be at the Basketball Federation's meeting to propose that the Winter Games host a National League tournamerit," she said.
"The Nationals, which are traditionally hosted in August, will be a good build-up towards the Winter Games in September"
