Canada trip
Ruapehu College pupil Angela Bron is to travel to Canada later this year as part of a student exchange, sponsored by Ruapehu Lions. The seventh former will stay with Canadian Lions' families. Her exact destination is not yet certain but it will be in Vancouver and possibly Alberta.
Promotion of New Zealand and the Ruapehu District will be one of her tasks, and local Lions plan to put together a video tape to help her. People with footage of the local area that could be used to make up a tape are asked to contact Ari Bron at Benchmark or Grant Price at Price's Pharmacy.
