Immediate fine
Cameron John Parker, 20, bank officer of Sydney, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of cannabis plant on 3 September. He was convicted and fined $300, court costs $65 and, when it was leamed that he was leaving to return to Australia (21 September), he was ordered to pay the fine and costs before the end of Court day or face a 7day prison term.
