Kindy places available

Ohakune Kindergarten is a great place for children to do a lot of learning and have a lot of fun doing it. That's a message from kindergarten organisers. Through art, music, things Maori, block and puzzle play, dough, clay and outdoor play they learn about themselves. Maths, science, books, stories, playing with others and learning that learning can be exciting. Parents are welcome

to call in and visit, have a look, ask questions and see for themselves. Enrolments can be made anytime after a child is two. The waiting list works on age. The oldest gets in first and there are vacancies for older children next term. A play group is also run with funding from COGS which families can attend with their young children. This is run by Julie Oliver on Wednesdays 1.00pm2.30pm. Further

information can be obtained from the kindergarten or Julie (58-350). Those children already on the waiting list are welcome to attend any sessions as long as someone stays with them. The teachers at kindergarten are Lynne and Yvonne. For any queries ring the Ohakune Kindergarten between 8.15am and 3.45pm (58-383) or Lynne at home 58-726
