Carrot clean-up
The volunteers who cleaned up the Ohakune Carrot site deserved a pat on the back, Waimarino Community Board member Ben Goddard said at last week's meeting. The board heard that the local Vegetable Growers' Association carried out the work with some help from council staff. "The growers deserve some thanks from the council," said Mr Goddard.
