trom page 2 ward, Fiona TeKura, Most Improved Player, Mere Bishop, Most Convincing Player, Sylvia Pue and most Outstanding Player, Sherry Hansen. On Sunday the Raetihi Women's team played the Ohakune women. The game was won by the Ohakune team. Players of the day for Raetihi were Sherry Hansen and Tina TeKura and Ohakune Kim

Burrows and Golly Paul. The Raetihi Golden Oldies versus Ohakune/Karioi Golden Oldies was played before the biggest crowd seen at the showgrounds for many years. To allow the large number of players a run, players were spelled each quarter. It was noted that 15 of the 1968 team featured in the Bulletin last week were at the jubilee. The considerable skills and flair of the older players were still

very much in evidence. John Mcllroy was named player of the day. Raetihi came out the eventual winners to take the shield. The weekend's activities were closed by John Compton at a hangi on Sunday evening. Club president Ron Jensen thanked all the sponsors, community, helpers, committee and jubilee committee for all they had done and invited everyone back in 2001 for the Centenary.
