Last week's Ohakune Twilight Festival, heralding the start of the New Zealand Winter Games, was a great success, with all sorts of events (apart from sausage eating and mulled wine drinking!) One event that drew attention was the Ruapehu Bulletin Fashion Awards, where competitors created fashion from newsprint. Elwyn Costello was particularly noticed for her community newspaper flair!
