Winter games fun events this week

The organisers of this year's inaugural New Zealand Winter Games are looking for fun this week. "Our Holiday Madness Marquee is an opportunity to initially promote the New Zealand Winter Games during the school holidays- giving visitors a taste of what's to come," said New Zealand Winter Games director Andreas Hefti. "Children are all invited to join in the Fancy dress party, come dressed up as your favourite character, star or clown," said Andreas. "The spaghetti party will be fun," he said laughing ."It's hard eating spaghetti at the best of times, let alone doing so as fast as you can." The Bavarian weekend will include a hat competition which the whole family can enter and on Sunday there is *a traditional Bavarian competition, for all the "incognito Europeans".
