There were ten pairs at Bridge on Wednesday 28 August, and 20 boards were played. The top pair NorthSouth were Brian Eades ahd Ron Frew who scored 61.85% of a maximum 160 pts. Sccond best were Laurctta Eades and Pauline Le Noel with 55.62%. In the East-West direction the best pcrforming team were Tani Blackburn and Gabby Marcikura, also with 61.85% of the maximum 160 pts. Rita . Kaiwhare and Bctty Hammond were second East-West with 46.88%. Last Tuesday several members at the Ohakune Club competed against Taihape for the Taihape Cup and scored a very convincing win.
