Women's rugby is not new to Raetihi - this team played at the Raetihi Rugby Football Club's 50th Jubilee, from left: Thelma Thornton, Chanelle Brenan (now Berry), Jessie Seaman, Valda Charmichael (nee Morgan), Rita West. Front: Barbara Vaughan (who married the coach, at right) Punch), Faith Coleman (now Wise), Betty Bryers. The coach is John Punch.
