Marae burgled, vandalised
Sometime on the weekend offenders broke into the Tirorangi Marae on the Whangaehu Valley Road and caused much damage, especially in the kitchen area. They also entered an out building and stole a Marshall solid fuel water boiler. Police said the theft appeared to be deliberate and planned and that the equipment could only be used for very limited purposes.
