Sign taken
After vandals knocked down the sign on Raurimu Hill advertising the Ariki Alpen Haus at National Park, someone took the sign away, which has upset the owncrs. Being quite proud of the sign, they are offering a reward of $100 for its recovery. It features a cut-out shape of Ruapehu, with white on top and baby blue on the bottom. The lodge's phone number is (0812) 22 801.
