Group break-in at restaurant
A group of young men broke into Samuel's Restaurant in Rimu Street Ohakune at about 3am on Wednesday night last week and made threats to and assaulted the owners and damaged property. Three males, aged 36, 21 and 18 years, have been arrested on various charges. Police are currently making enquiries to identify others involved in the incident. Police believe the group had been drinking at another Ohakune Junction establishment and went to the restaurant to obtain further liquor.
