The second qualifymg round saw a good field with much improved scoring.In the senior division.T Fredericks Jnr came in with a nett 64.A great round of golf. Next T Tapp 66, P Goldfinch 68, J Corbett and D Windle 70. Juniors: J Hansen 63, J Renata 69, J Hammond and J Mcllroy 70. Ladies: F Geraghty74, P Mcllroy 77. Two's were scored by J Ennis, J Renata, S Gray, T Frederick Jnr. Sponsors for the day were Ruapehu Motors and Mountain View Motels. The zones team of K Herewini, P Goldfinch, D Herewini, H Geraghty scored a win over Belmont to get off to a good start in the zones competition. Ladies golf Results: 5th LGU: F Geraghty 73 nett. Twos P Mowat and M Kennedy. Raffle, E Goldfinch. Sponsors for the day - Barrett Transport. Waimarino darts Last Tuesday night a singles competition was held. Highest start Greg Windle with 120; highest finish Peter Zohs, 86; highest score Daniel Williams after a play-off with Greg Windle. Overall winners for the night were Greg Windle and Peter Zohs with 7 wins.
