Tumblers do well

The junior squad travelled to Wanganui at the weekend to compete in the Trustbank Wanganui Boys and Girls Open Gymnastics Competition. On Saturday the level three girls had a good day with Shelley Gotlieb winning the gold medal and Ei Leen Voon gaining the bronze medal and with Sarah Lind they took the team event. On Sunday Jenny

Murdie won the bronze medal in the level four competition. In the grade seven boys competition Alan Murdie won the gold with Scott Mazey winning the bronze and with team mates Scott Nation and John Hayes the boys

took out the team gold. Kelly Swain in level five had her best competition this year winning gold with scores in the nines. Her grand total also won Kelly special prizes - a stay at a Wanganui motel and a trip down the river.
