Remanded
Thomas Treanor,44 farmer of Pipiriki, pleaded guilty to three charges of receiving property knowing that it had been stolen or dishonestly obtained. These charges included:receiving 4 shearing plants and a shearing grinder valued at $2600; receiving a Yanmar generator valued at $6000; and Suzuki 4WD motorcycle valued at $5000. Damage to the value of $3000 to the motor-
cycle was sought. Defendant was convicted and remanded for a probation offices report and sentence as well as a reparation report in order to assess defendant's circumstances under such serious charges. Judge Watson observed that defendant, through his legal counsel, was relieved to finally face up and come to terms with his problems. Counsel Brian Mason
