• Could someone tell me beyond all reasonable doubt the true story of the Ohakune water supply. Is it's source a crystal clear spring? If so is this spring 5km further upstream than the present intake? Was the spring rediscovered by the latest strong expedition or did they get lost? From page 4 water supply been checked for giardia and if so what were the results. If not, are all country hicks naturally resistant to giardia or are giardia tests a luxury for tourist towns only?
