Netball grading
Opening grading day for the 1991 netball season was held on Saturday 6 April with 15 teams taking part. It was the best entry of teams for many years. College 1 played some excellent netball going into the final play-off against Raetihi. Raetihi proved strong and won the opening day trophy by 15-9. The Grades are; A Grade; College 1, M.G,'s, Transport, Ramblers 1, Waiouru 3, Ruapehu, Seekers, Raetihi. B Grade; Checkers, Waimarino, Navy, College 3, Waiouru 2, College 2, Ramblers 2, Karioi. April 9.30am C1 College 1 vs M.G's (UmpireRaetihi) C2 Checkers vs Waimarino (UmpireSeekers,) C3 Transport vs Ramblers 1 (UmpireKarioi) C4 Navy vs College 3 (UmpireRuapehu) 10.20am C1 Waiouru 3 vs Ruapehu, (UmpireM.G.'s) C2 Waiouru 2 vs College 2, (Umpire - Transport.) C3 Seekers vs Raetihi (Umpire - Ramblers 1) C4 Ramblers 2 vs Karioi, (Umpire - College 1) Duty teams are Ramblers 1/Karioi and teams are to provide dual umpires.
