Waimarino rifle club elections
The Waimarino Smallbore Rifle Club held their annual general meeting at their club rooms on Saturday 23 April. Officers elected were: President Russell McLean, Secretary/Treasurer Michael Maru, Club Captain Ken Summerhayes, Target judge Bob McGinnis, P.R.O Maureen Bright. The club's season has begun and members are recording good scores.
Enthusiasm is running high and new members are encouraged to attend. Club night is Monday at the range which is in the produce shed at the showgrounds, Parapara Road Raetihi, 7.30pm. Club members are on hand to tutor any new shooters and rifles are available for use includ'ing a left-handed model. Ammunition is available from the club at a small cost.
