Raetihi Ohakune Rotary members and wives enjoyed a barbecue meeting at the Ruatiti Domain on 13 March,

which gave them a chance to view their handywork. Guest of honour, Garrick Workman, mayor of

the Ruapehu District Council, declared the new gates at the Domain open. The gates and Turnpage 2

Rotarians From page 1 concrete gate posts were erected by Rotary as their 1990 project. "The domain is a great place to come to and is the envy of many small camping sites in New Zealand" said Mr Workman. He also acknowledged the Department of Conservation management team, Ruatiti Domain committee and Harry Brown's personal contribution to the Reserve and said that he was personally thrilled for council to have had some input at the domain.
