3rd NZ Polocrosse trip for Kay

Kakatahi polocrosse player Kay Nitschke has been selected to play in the New Zealand women's polocrosse team for the third time. Mrs Nitschke played Australia in New Zealand in 1988 and went to Zimbabwe in 1989. Mrs Nitschke is one of

the seven players going to Australia on 31 April. While in Australia for three weeks they will play a warm-up garne and two tests against the Australian women's polocrosse team. The first test is to be played at Musswellbrook in New South Wales and the

second test at Warwick in Queensland. The New Zealand team will borrow horses for the games in Australia and will be billeted with host families while they are away. Mrs Nitschke's husband Warren will be travelling with her. Visiting New Zealand

at present is an Australian Men's Polocrosse team who are playing two tests against the New Zealand men's team. The first test is at Hastings on 23 March and

the second at the Auckland Easter Show. Another local polocrosse person, Richard Koorey, is selector-coach for the New Zealand men'sr polocrosse team.
