Vi Brown, (skip), June Foster (3), Ethel Allerby (2), and Christina McLeod are the champion of champions team for the Wanganui Centre, the first Ohakune team to take the prize in more than 12 years. They will be presented a certificate and gold bars for their win of a "nail-biting'' competition which saw them drawn at the final - having to play an extra 21 ends, winning by four on the last end.
