Ladies golf opening
About 20 ladies teed off for the ladies opening day of the 1991 season at the Waimarino Golf Club last Wednesday. The competition for the day was the Captain's Trophy and a stableford round, won by Jean Windle from Sue Baddley on a count back with 38 stableford points. Jill Martin was third with 36 points. There were no twos. Jill Martin also won the raffle.
