Mill worker injured
Peter Robb, a fitter and turner at the Karioi pulp mill is in Wanganui Hospital with two badly broken legs following an accident at the mill last Thursday night. The accident happened on Thursday night when the man's legs became caught in a bale forming press while he was investigating a fault. He is expected to be in hospital for several weeks. A Labour Department investigation of the accident was carried out on Friday, but the results have not yet been released.
