A project to build squash courts in Ohakune could be resurrected. In the early 1980s a committee was formed. to push a project to build courts next to the Ruapehu College community gymnasium. More than $20,000 was raised but the project stalled, said the instigator of the project resurrection, John Laurenson. He is calling all interested persons to attend a meeting at the college -hall Wednesday next week, 7.30pm. He can be contacted on 58489 and said he would like to hear from anyone who would be keen to see the courts built, but who may not be able to attend the meeting.
