Quiet hostel summer

The Ohakune Youth Hostel has been running at one third capacity through the summer, the hostel's warden, Alex Cook, reports. He said the summer was generally slow but steady, and usually used by foreigners while it was busier in winter and used mainly by New Zealanders. He said they have had Scots, Germans, Swedish, Greeks, Canadians and a good number of English visitors and no Iraqis.
