Mill building nearly finished

The new staff amenities block at the Winstones Mill is nearing completion and should be opened February or March. The 500 square metre block is being built with money from the mill company as well as voluntary labour from mill

workers, time donated by local firms and some materials also donated. It will serve as a sporting and recreational facility for the mill workers and double as a conference centre for staff training. It includes a simple kitcheir, bar, storage rooms, an

ablution block with showers and will house weight training equipment, pool tables, dart boards and other sports equipment. The mill workers' social club is providing some of the equipment and the mill is helping out there as well.
