Fr Vella returns
Father Bernie Vella, SM, returns to Ohakune as Parish Priest later this month. Fr Vella replaces Fr Phil McCormack who is moving to an Auckland parish. Fr Vella served as parish priest in Ohakune for several years up to 1985 when he took up the post of parish priest at St Anne!s Parish in Manurewa.
