Armed offenders squad called to Jerusalem
Waimarino Police were called to assist in a police emergency that occurred at Jerusalem yesterday, where the armed offenders squad from Wanganui dealt with a man hiding in a building in the village. Police had the man trapped in the building yesterday morning, after he had fired shots during Sunday night. Waimarino police were called to set up a road block at Pipiriki to stop the man escaping.
