Brian Dowsett and supporter Tom Spry walk out of Ohakune on their way to Makaranui in aid of the Ohakune Club Around the Mountains Relay team which happens Saturday 10 November. Brian walked from Waiouru to Makaranui, raising $1500 in sponsorship for the team. He left Waiouru at 4.20am and made it to Makaranui by 10.10am. He said "club talk" in the bar with some of the relay team members led to the walk.
