Starving for freedom!

Telecom man Mark Hayes had to skip lunch with his workmates recently for the most unusual of reasons. He was installing a new phone line at the Waiouru Hospital when he got stuck while crawling underneath the floorboards. Unable to go forward or backwards and unable to summon help, he had to wait until after lunch 'till his stomach shrank a bit. Then he managed to dig a small hole to free up one hand, find a stick to dig a bigger hole. Once this was done he managed to tum around and head back out, only to face a feed of humble pie!
