1990 Netball season at an end
The 1990 netball season came to an end last Saturday, after a successful closing day in which ten teams took part. It would have been nice to have seen all teams supporting their division by participating, said organisers. Raetihi 1 kept their unbeaten record by winning the tournament with College 1 coming second. Both teams were presented with badges and rosettes. College 2 received a prize for con-
sistent effort and a special award went to Awhina Edwards. Jefferine O'Sullivan was successful in passing the second half of her umpires exam, so is now qualified and holds a Wanganui Senior Umpires' Badge. "As President for the 1990 season, my thanks to all for helping make it a successful season. Special thanks to the Secretary, Treasurer and Draw Steward. Without these people we couldn't have such a good sea-
son. Special thanks to Ruth for her fundraising efforts. Last but not least thanks to the Ruapehu Bulletin for publishing our results and small pieces of netball news, we are most grateful," said organiser Annette Schrier,
