$75 for staff form idea

Consumers taking appliances in for repair at King Country Electric Power Board offices in future will know their property is being well accounted for - in triplicate. That's the result of a further suggestion made under the staff suggestion scheme. General manager Peter Till told the July board meeting that replacing the present ad hoc la-

belling system with a triplicate form would improve customer satisfaction and service as well as optimise staff performance. It was exactly the sort of submission that it was hoped the staff suggestion scheme would throw up. The staff member is to receive $75 for the idea. Board member John Lindstrom was opposed to the award, saying he was surprised such a system was not already in operation.
