Games musician in town

Mike Farrell, the creative drive behind the Farrelli Bros. is back in town with his band this week. Since last season Mike has been busy writing and recording and was the writer and director of the Commonwealth Games song "Now is the moment". For a few weeks Mike had to direct a cast of

over a thousand people in the studio including a church choir, a military brass band and full Maori concert party as well as studio musicians and vocalists. He's written the musical scores for two New Zealand movies to be released soon, and will also feature in the forthcoming New Zealand tour with Midge Marsden and his band in August.
