Burning plastic is irresponsible

• I have noticed that plastic rubbish and any other toxic material dumped at the dump is burnt. I think that this is un-

reasonable and the time to confront the "waste" issue is now before it consumes us all. Admittedly it is a global problem yet it must be confronted on a personal, regional level. Quite simply if products of the 90's cannot be disposed of in an ethical fashion they should not even be manufactured. Ethical waste disposal costs money. The money or your lives. To my knowledge councillors have children also who will pay? Here's to rubbish, the growth industry of the future!
