Late offers on most auction sections
Despite receiving just one bid that reached reserve price on Saturday, Challenge Realty went away happy after their subdivision auction.
Bidding was slow at the auction of 26 sections at the Mountain Heights subdivision and only one section, at 1000 square metres, sold for $12,000. Bids ranged from $5000 up to $25,000 for a 1.6 hectare block next to the subdivision. The fully serviced building sections in Willow Lane, opposite Miro Park, were from 536 square metres to 1202 square metres. But later the agents received firm offers on a number of sections that they were to take back to the development
