Waiouru Community Board chairman Bobby Vine must be starting his own sports club - at the board's last meeting someone said he had ordered 36 Ruapehu District Council jerseys and, while he didn't say it was true, he wasn't heard to deny it. If he's not starting a two-team Ruapehu District Council rugby club why does he need thirty-plus jerseys? Surely it's not getting that cold out on the Desert Road?
