Drop an "s" and get your house painted free

Remember the battle Mr & Mrs Harrod of Palmerston North were having with Harrods in London? (Harrods - that's the wee corner shop in London owned by some Arabs - were telling a couple in New Zealand they couldn't use their own name in business). Well the Palmerston North branch, that operates as a motel, has agreed to drop the "s" and become Harrod Motels and in return Big-wig Harrods, that's with an "s", will pay for a paint job. Next in line must be Harrods of Rangataua - they'll be well pleased to hear some fresh paint is at last on the way!
