Getting in early for 1999

The waiting list for the TVNZ programme "Blind Date" is about nine years, at least for Meki Pakinga from Ohakune it is. He wrote to TVNZ asking for a date on Blind Date and received a very nice card back from compere Suzy Aiken. She said it was lovely to hear from Meki but that he would have to wait until he was 18. He's nine this year. Don't worry Meki, there's bound to be women still around in 1999!
