LITTLE LOCAL NEWS
The Commander expressed his concern over the lack of radio reception in Waiouru. Radio Taumarunui is the only local station that broadcasts news relevant to Waiouru; as there is no local television news and very little local news in local papers, there is a fundamental lack of communication in the Ruapehu region.
