WAIOURU MULTI SPORTS CLUB

The Waiouru Multi sports club foundation members are preparing for an exciting summer season. However, they are urging interested people to attend their AGM, on Tuesday 5 December 1989 at 5pm at the 4 Supply Company Sunrise Club. The aim of the club is to promote, organise and foster canoeing, cycling, running and swimming within Waiouru and the Ruapehu District. The club was formed in 1987 by an Army Physical Training Instructor and past and present members have participated in the South Island Coast to Coast, DB Ironman, the North Island Coast to Coast, and numerous triathlons.
