WAIOURU SPORTS AND RECREATION GRANTS
Three Waiouru groups have been granted money from the Hillary Sports and Recreation Commission Grants Scheme by the Rangitikei County Council. The New Zealand Army Ski Team has been granted $1290 to attend the British Army Ski Championships, the ATG Library was granted $1000 for children and young adults' books, and the Waiouru Community Resource Centre was granted $1000 to subsidise the purchase of children's cycle helmets.
