SKATEBOARDER'S RAMP ON ENGINEER'S LIST
A request from Ohakune skateboarder Kenneth Mcllroy for the council to build a half-pipe is being looked at by the district engineer. Master Mcllroy wrote to the council asking for the construction to help keep skateboarders off the street. He suggested a site near the carrot which would not be too far to walk.
