"THANKS, PUSS AND PUP"
Next week is World Animal Week, set down to coincide with St Francis of Assisi Day (which marks the life of the Patron Saint of Animals). The theme of the week is to give thanks to the companionship of animals which many people enjoy. (A recent Auckland survey showed eight out of ten homes have pets).
