OHAKUNE CIVIL DEFENCE RADIO LINK DOWN, THEN STRENGHTENED

Ohakune will be without a civil defence radio link soon, but for just two days. The Ohakune set is to go to Taumarunui so that the civil defence base there has a radio link with their new regional base - the Wanganui Manawatu civil defence headquarters. The Taumarunui set will be altered by technicians to inlcude the Wanganui Manawatu base frequency, then returned to Ohakune.
