SNOWBOARDERS SHRED TUROA IN COMPETITION
Snowboarders are booked to converge on Turoa this week, competing in Giant Slalom, Super Giant Slalom and halfpipe freestyle events. The event was due to start yesterday with the GS, today is the super GS and tommorow is the freestyle. The "Crazy Banana International Snowboarding Classic" event is the last of a three-venue series, with boarders having competed at Mt Hutt and at the Remarkables ski area.
