JUNIOR SKI RACERS AT RUAPEHU SKI FIELD
This weekend sees North Island junior ski racers competing at Turoa in the McDonald's Cup Giant Slalom and Slalom races. Up to 100 racers are expected in the event which is run with assistance from thc Turoa Alpine Ski Club (TASCI). Four age group sections cover young racers from eight to 15 years old. Last weekend's national circuit races, the Taubmans' Slalom and the Rossignol Giant Slalom were cancelled due to bad weather.
