PRÉS AND APRÉS SKI PROMOS AT WHAKAPAPA
About 70 winter visitors enjoyed a champagne breakfast at Whakapapa's Top O' The Bruce cafeteria last Sunday as part of the opening celebrations held on the weekend. For $10 for two, early risers were served a cooked breakfast with Yalumba Champagne to follow. Another drinks promotion is scheduled for tomorrow night at Whakapapa at the Skotel, behind the Chateau. The Smirnoff Aprds Ski Party will run from 4pm to 8pm, with a screen to watch the test and various vodka based cocktails offered to try. Live music will be provided by Neil Jones and the Heaters who are at the end of a New Zealand wide tour. They play rhythm and blues as well as good oi' rock 'n roll.
