MUSEUM SWAPPING MAORIS FOR VEHICLES

A vehicle display is to replace the Maori Battalion display at Waiouru's Queen Elizabeth II Army Memorial Museum this month. About ten army vehicles from the World War One era through to the present day will make up the display which is due to open on 15 August. The display will include General Freyberg's staff car and display depicting a jeep recovery operation.
